Tied To Greatness™ is helping our nation's young men realize and reach their fullest potential. 

Since its inception in 2007, more than 10,000 inner-city male high school students in the U.S. and abroad have participated and were impacted by our internationally acclaimed mentoring initiative. Through our innovative programs, assemblies, and workshops, we encourage young men to transform their lives by becoming extraordinary leaders and exceptional students who embrace a lifestyle of excellence.

Our nonprofit organization also provides an enriching experience dedicated to building the image and esteem of young men through affirmation, instruction, and role modeling. Our role models are a large group of successful volunteers who understand it takes a village of great men to build greater young men. These community minded men are committed to championing the success of the next generation of leaders. 

Great men from across the nation, gather at a local high school or community auditorium to set an atmosphere of love, acceptance, strong character, pride, and dignity. These men are an intricate part of Tied To Greatness™ because they assist in fostering a community of brotherhood. At every assembly, they share their personal stories of trial and triumph, while visuals are shown that youth can relate to. Additionally, they impart wisdom on how inner and outer image can impact career prospects and how integrity and professionalism increase marketability. 

Tied To Greatness™ uses the influence of fashion, and the symbolism of the necktie as a point of manhood and maturity. The use of the necktie is meant to remind young men about the importance of personal image and to encourage each participant to make positive choices about his future. 

The program culminates with a tie tying ceremony where our distinguished quorum of men stand before a given student, reaffirms his greatness, and then teaches him how to tie his own tie.  The young men are given the ties as a keepsake for future special events.  Every young man will be empowered and encouraged to embrace a lifestyle of study, service, sophistication, style, and success.
